Dignified Care? Report

The Commissioner's Hospital Review found that the care provided to some older people in hospitals in Wales was 'shamefully inadequate' and that improvements were essential in a number of key areas.

The Dignified Care? report, published as part of the Review, contained twelve recommendations aimed at improving hospital care for older people across Wales. Local Health Boards, Velindre Trust, local authorities and the Welsh Government were required to respond to the recommendations and publish detailed action plans designed to improve dignity in care.
