These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Direction given by Welsh Ministers in accordance with the Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Act 2006, Schedule 1 Paragraph 10 (1) (b). This year was the first of our three year Strategic Plan - a year in which the Older People’s Commission for Wales has made further substantial progress. This succeeds our interim Strategic Plan which drove the development of the Commission during 2009/10. We consulted older people widely in the development of our Strategic Plan and continue actively to engage with them in all aspects of our work.
