The Older People’s Commission has adopted the Information Commissioner’s model publication scheme.
The scheme sets out seven broad categories of information which the Older People’s Commission commits to make routinely available. We will routinely provide as much information as possible under these categories of information.
The scheme also sets out the circumstances under which the Older People’s Commission may not be required to make information routinely available. These are:
When the information is not held or is in draft form;
When the information is exempt from disclosure (for example if it is personal information or confidential); or
When the information is no longer readily available.
How You Can Access The Information
Much of the information we hold that falls within the Scheme will be available on our website and can be downloaded free of charge. If it is not available on our website it may be provided on request.
Paper copies of the information held may be obtained by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, telephoning the office on 029 2944 5030, or writing to Older People’s Commission for Wales, Cambrian Buildings, Mount Stuart Square, Cardiff CF10 5FL.
Information requested, which is included in the publication scheme, will be sent to you within five working days.
Typed material can be supplied in large print if requested. Arrangements can also be made to produce certain documents in braille or on cassette tape.
Information provided in paper form is available free of charge for single copies. A charge for photocopying and postage will be made for multiple copies where such costs exceed £10.
